Return Policy – S.K. Engineering

At S.K. Engineering, we take pride in delivering high-quality road construction and engineering equipment such as Hot Mix Plants, Bitumen Decanters, Bitumen Sprayers, Broom Sweepers, Paver Finishers, Static Road Rollers, Tractor Mounted Air Compressors, and Wet Mix Plants. Each product is manufactured and tested to ensure reliability and performance.

Since our machines are large, custom-built, and specialized, our return policy is designed to be clear and fair to protect both our customers and our company.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted only in cases of:

    • Wrong product delivered (different from the confirmed order).

    • Manufacturing defect or functional fault reported immediately upon delivery/installation.

    • Major transit damage, provided it is reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Products once installed, used, or operated are not eligible for return.

2. Conditions for Return

  • The machine/equipment must be in its original condition, unused, and without alterations.

  • All original documents (invoice, warranty papers, manuals, etc.) must be provided.

  • The return request must be made in writing via email within 7 days of delivery.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or specially fabricated equipment.

  • Spare parts, consumables, and accessories.

  • Equipment damaged due to mishandling, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs by the buyer.

4. Inspection & Approval

  • Once a return request is raised, our technical team will inspect the machine.

  • If the issue qualifies under our return policy, the return/replacement will be processed.

  • If the equipment is found to be in working condition and as per order specifications, the return request may be denied.

5. Refunds & Replacements

  • In case of an approved return:

    • Replacement will be provided with the correct/functional product.

    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 15-20 business days, after deducting applicable logistics, handling, and restocking charges.

6. Shipping & Logistics

  • Return shipping charges will be borne by the buyer unless the return is due to our error (wrong product or manufacturing defect).

  • For heavy machinery, customers must ensure proper packaging and safe loading for return transport.
